Just an absolute delight

Who should watch this movie: Anyone who did Science Olympiad in middle school. Millennials who can’t afford therapy.
When should you watch this movie: When your’e in a creative rut. When you miss your family.
The sell: This is the movie I imagine my kindergarten teacher would have made if she pursued a career in Hollywood instead of early childhood education (shout out to Miss Suzy). Through protagonist, Lewis, a brilliant but misunderstood orphan, Meet the Robinsons takes the audience through a series of challenging but invaluable life lessons. Set to the beat of time travel and other futuristic tech, each lesson is creatively delivered while avoiding pedantry and sermonizing. The film boasts a slew of unique characters from every corner of bizarre, all of whom are unapologetic in their idiosyncrasies. Even the token villain has something valuable to share, not limited to his excellent mustache+bowler-hat lëwk. Does this count as reparenting? Yes. Should you still go to therapy? Also yes.
