When should you watch this movie: When you need to turn your brain off and your loins on
The sell: This movie has a creative premise that others have subsequently attempted to replicate to disappointing ends. The main problem with these subsequent remakes is that they didn’t star Brad Pritt and Angelina Jolie. These are two talented actors in roles that require very little of them (beyond some cool stunts), but they CLEARLY had fun with it and the chemistry is undeniable. The action is cool, albeit gratuitous. Actually, this whole movie is pretty gratuitous, but that’s part of the charm. That and Angelina’s cheekbones.
