The sell: It turns out a good cast does not necessarily make a good movie. If you have never encountered this story before, there is a chance that this movie might hold your interest. But even then, the exaggerated drama, cold color-scheme, and Kenneth Branagh all fall flat. For those who know the story, this adaptation adds nothing to the source material. It’s a disappointing waste of talent that is frankly, not worth your time. No offense to Judi Dench, I love you Judi.
